Project name

eudr-a2a is the source-code name of this project. No trademark right is claimed in the name itself; it describes the technical artefact (an A2A-protocol agent for EUDR due diligence) and is offered under the project's Apache-2.0 licence.

"EUDR"

"EUDR" is a descriptive reference to Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on the making available on the Union market and the export from the Union of certain commodities and products associated with deforestation and forest degradation. It is not a trademark of this project and no exclusive right is asserted over it.

Vortx AI

The Vortx AI name and logo are trademarks of Vortx AI Private Limited. Use of the Vortx AI marks is permitted only for:

attribution required by the Apache-2.0 licence;
factual references to the project's origin (for example, "originally

developed by Vortx AI") in articles, talks, and documentation.

Any other use of the Vortx AI name or logo. In particular use that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or an official relationship. Requires prior written permission.

Forks and derivative works

The Apache-2.0 licence permits forks and derivative works. To avoid confusion:

A fork that materially changes the engine's behaviour (for

example by removing the signed-receipt path, changing the Annex II validation, or wiring a different satellite provider) must rename the project and must not use the eudr-a2a name in a way that suggests it is the same software.

A fork that ships unmodified or near-identical behaviour may keep

the name and must keep the licence and the NOTICE file intact.

EU emblem

The European Union flag and the European Commission emblem are reserved symbols under Commission Decision 2012/C 271/04 and may not be used in a way that suggests an official EU relationship.

This project does not use the EU emblem.
Forks and derivative works are reminded that the same restriction

applies to them, regardless of where they are hosted.

Where external compatibility material or documentation needs to

link to authoritative EU regulatory content, link to the official EUR-Lex record (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32023R1115) or to the DG ENV deforestation portal (https://environment.ec.europa.eu/) rather than rendering the emblem.
